PRO AQUA Company Technical Department has developed a new piston pressure reducer design. The PRO AQUA experts have improved the product characteristics on headline indicators. The new reducer has improved design reliability, longer service life and a wider control range. Note that the 1” thread reducer is now rated for inlet pressures up to 25 bar.
All housing elements of the new reducer are made of brass. The new model completely lacks plastic parts, the presence of which could complicate the installation of the product in hard-to-reach places. The new reducer design is easier to maintain in cases where the valves are installed in a system through which the poor quality treated water is circulating. The complete absence of all plastic parts in the reducer makes the probability of mechanical damage zero.
The PRO AQUA technical experts have also refined the grinding and polishing technology. The new reducer has a chamber inner surface that is subjected to additional polishing procedure, which increases the service life of the product when it is used in hot and cold water supply systems with water containing a large number of impurities.
